Hey Planet Q TV fans,

Planet Q TV Blog is back open
Well since we did some changes to the website (internal changes – many you won’t notice) – our blog disappeared from the website. Well the blog is back to keep you up to date on what is going on with Planet Q TV, any new content producers and to talk about the new videos that hit our site. Last March marked our 2 year anniversary since we have been around and we continue to grow the site to become a favorite LGBT destination.
WHAT’S NEW THIS MONTH:
Viewer Dyvon posted two new videos – one of which is a LGBT soap opera that right now is running on You Tube. We hope to convince Dyvon to also post his episodes here so all our fans can enjoy it. Check out his two new videos: http://www.planetq.tv/video/773/Prides-General-Promo and http://www.planetq.tv/video/772/Hurtnever-again.
Content Producer Click Click Expose has posted preview videos of this year’s 2009 Miss International Plus pageant and the 2009 Miss International Newcomer pageant that was held at the Deleware Theatre in Wilmington, Deleware. Previews of the Mr. and Miss Division will be coming soon.
Viewer Gay Music Fan gave us a ton of new LGBT music clips including Ivri Lider and Peter Frodin (for our overseas fans), Soce (for our gay hip hop fans), Colton Ford (Porn star turn singer) and Amadeus & Darren Stewart Jones. Some really good music videos, be sure to check them out and support them by buying their music.
And finally, Content Producer Drag Queen Posse shows us glitz glam – round two of the RuPaul Drag Race video submissions and an audio podcast of Logo star Calpernia Adams.
DON’T FORGET:
Our site supports HD content of all flavors and our new and improved video player (that you can embedded practically anywhere) can make your video look great. So remember to upload your videos today and enjoy a world-wide audience. Have fun and HAPPY VIEWING!!

It is the start of yet another year. I can’t believe how fast 2008 went. It seems like every year keeps going by faster and faster yet I fell like I am still standing still. Don’t you just hate that. Well one of my New Year resolutions is to do a better job keeping this blog going either every day or every other day – plus we so much work to do in 2009 as we grow our video business.
SO FIRST – thanks to all of our fans, supporters, friends, associates and those who believe in what we do and how we do it. It has been a long road (sometimes difficult, sometimes disappointing) but it has been fun as we continue to try and do what we believe in and what we hope you like. We hope in 2009 you will share with us the good, the bad and the ugly so that we improve and get better.
SECOND – if you are a fan of the internet web sitcom show “Duder” – well writer Matt Kirsch is ending Season 2 early. If you all have ever tried to put together a web video show, it is long and hard work (especially when you don’t make any money from it). If you support the show (we love it), let him know – leave a message here or go to his website at: www.dudershow.com and let him know. He will continue the show if their is fan support but you have to let him know. We have to support our own especially when you have talented people attempting to break out on their own and do their own thing – so do me a favor – if you like the show – let him know. WANT TO SEE THE EPISODES – head over to Planet Q TV – click on the “duder” show and check out season 1 and 2 – I think you will really enjoy it.
THIRD – Pageant Pay Per View fans – new platform is up – 27 videos are online to watch, rent or download. So if you don’t want to buy the DVD, that bootleg copy you got is crappy quality (just kidding, just kidding) or you just want to see one category – check out our selection at: www.clickclickexpose.com and click on the shopping button – EOY 2003, 2006, 2007, 2008, Florida USofA 2008, Gay Florida America 2008, International Week 2008 and a whole lot more is waiting for you.
FOURTH – The podcast shows will be resuming starting this week. More gay news week in review, Adrian and I will be starting our podcast show again, along with queer history facts and hopefully some new shows as well. Stay tune – it should be a lot of fun.
That’s all for. HAPPY NEW YEAR – Here’s hoping for a fantastic 2009 year.

Hey video fans,
After a short time off to fix some security leaks (damn those hackers) – Planet Q TV is back up and running. We have updated the script, changed our video player (it is such a sweet video player), changed a few little things about the site and we are all set. More good things are coming in the weeks ahead like a redesigned profile page so your profile, your picture and all the great things you have to say about your self will look good – plus other surprises we think you will like.
As always we welcome your comments and suggestions – tell us what you like and what you don’t like about Planet Q TV and what we can do to make it better. Speak up and let us know your thoughts. We hope you continue to enjoy watching videos from all over the world and make sure you join our community AND UPLOAD YOUR VIDEOS!!
Happy Viewing….Thomas (Official Content Producer – Click Click Expose)

I have taken Planet Q TV offline until I work out some issues with the site. It appears the hackers are at it again and more security measures are needed. I apologize for the inconvenience and will have the site back up soon. Thanks for your patience.

So there was this group of guys and gals…some gay some straight…who just, you know, duder around. They all got together to share and talk about things that were happening in their lives. Thus was born the internet web comedy show Duder from New York writer and web producer Matt Kirsch. Many of you were introduced to the Duder show through season 1 when we had it up on that “other” platform (LOL). Well everything has been moved over to here including the two new episodes for Season 2. Make sure you check it out as new episodes hit every Monday and Thursday. To understand the characters and see why they are the way they are, make sure you watch the first season. Head to the channel page and look for the Duder channel.
Have fun and happy viewing!!

Click Click Expose (with the permission of the music artist) have uploaded videos of gay hip hop artist Soce. Soce, a couple of months ago, released his new video “I’m So Gay” plus we included some of his earlier videos like Sad and Lonely, Meeting In Person and Looking Back which he did in collaboration with Rapper Deadlee. We also have Deadlee’s video “Good Soldier II” and Tori Fixx’s Video “Good Mornting” (uploaded by the artist to our old Brightcove account). All of this is our tribute to gay hip hop that we are doing on our website, blogs and podcast shows.
Genessis – a popular drag entertainer from Birmingham, AL has joined our community and uploaded 11 videos some of which is from where she performed at the Quest Nightclub. Word has it she will be competing in next year’s National Entertainer of the Year. You go girl!!
Content Producer “The Drag Queen Posse” uploaded part 4 of their series of videos from San Diego Pride.
Content Producer Naked News Boy has uploaded new videos from his latest project and hangout – the Krave Nightclub – the only gay night club on the Las Vegas Strip.
And we couldn’t help share a couple of funny political videos from the very funny folks over at the Onion News Network.
Happy Viewing!!!

So what do you have when you combine an Ivy League educated, violin-playing, Jewish white gay rapper from New York – well you have computer programmer by day and comedian rapper by night – named Soce (that’s pronounced so-say). He isn’t new to the scene having produced 2 albums that go back to 2004 but this oxy moron of gay hip hop has been producing stylish beats, dope lyrics and in your face rhymes for more than 5 years (that I know of). I learned of Soce last year when I was adding a Deadlee video to our Planet Q TV website. Back then, I hadn’t placed much emphasis on gay hip hop thinking that it was a passing fad. Boy was I wrong!! These artists have some amazing music, amazing stories and beats that I think you will love (especially if you are fan of hip hop). Hence, my new focus on the podcast shows on gay hip hop.
Soce first album “I’m In My Own World” reminds of a little old school mix in with R&B, rap, folk, dance all tied together in a production that in my mind is outstanding. I am no music critic and it’s been a long time since I have had any desire to want to go buy a CD but I definitely will be picking up Soce first album – check out some of the preview tracks
here (http://cdbaby.com/cd/soce2) – you will be presently surprise. His sophomore album “The Lemonade Incident” is a departure from his first album and really take advantageous of his comedic background. Very in your face and direct – Soce isn’t afraid to tell you he’s gay and what he likes to do (LOL). We got permission to put up his “I’m So Gay” music video on Planet Q TV - check it out and you will see what I mean by in your face. And for all you folks with virgin ears, he has a clean version as well – but since we are all grown ups here – you get the explicit version (LOL).
I have had a lot of fun exploring the Gay Hip Hop world and I hope to bring more artist, music, interviews, and videos to you. So make sure you continue to stop by and check it out. Here is a little bio on Soce so you can learn a little bit more about “The elemental wizard.” Oh…and he likes role playing games – A pc gamer after my own heart!!! Here’s his bio!!
Soce is the Jewish, Gay, White MC. A computer programmer on Wall Street by day.. Level 27 Hip Hop Spellcaster Master Rapper by night! Soce is well known in both the music and comedy scenes throughout NYC, representing all genres from anti-folk to art stars, improve to standup and acting. He has been described as the male Lil Kim and the white Eminem. Soce’s been on MTV, VH1, Logo, HERE and in The Source, URB, Out magazine and numerous German, Austrian and Swiss magazines, as well as being interviewed live on WNYC 93.9 FM and Sirius Satellite Radio, on OutQ 106, Raw Dog Comedy 104 and Shade 45 (where he recently won their first ever gay hip hop battle). The wizard has been filmed in three documentaries on gay rappers.
In addition, he’s produced tracks and performed as a special guest rapping, singing, acting in videos and playing violin for numerous talented artists including MF Grimm, Jeff Lewis, dub-L, Mistermaker, Q-Boy, Bigg Nugg, Danny Katz, Sair, Many V.e.r.s.e.s, Kontrast, Chris Fuller, Frank Grimaldi, Jenn Lindsay, Linda Draper, Johnny Dangerous, Rob Cantrell, Ray DeVito, Bacivo Nuggets, Tijuana Yacht Club, Matt Koff, Ben Lerman, Scotty the Blue Bunny and Jon Berger. Soce produced the track Lick It by God-Des and She, which has become one of their big hits, and they performed it live on the season three finale of The L Word.
Soce does live shows throughout NYC in not only hipster bars and clubs, but also at colleges, theaters, museums, community centers and synagogues. He’s also done shows in Berlin, London, Sheffield (UK), Boston, LI, CT, NH, MN, NJ, SF, IN, IA and LA. Look for soce performing in a town near you. He also programs his own flash cartoon videos and games and makes comedy videos with his performer friends. Additionally, he co-hosts a math bee once a month with comedian Jennifer Dziura at Chelsea Market, and he does interviews and show reviews for NYC comedy blog The Apiary.
If you’ve ever had to struggle, been in love, enjoyed a good role-playing game or just wanted to experience rap music where you can actually relate to every word spoken, soce’s music is for you. Look for his third album “Master of Fine Arts” coming out very soon! Visit his website at: www.greathiphop.com.
Happy Listening…Thomas
